Our cleaners are independent contractors who carry their own insurance, and Bear Brothers carries general liability insurance to cover legitimate damage claims. To report an issue, just call or text us at 256-633-6332 and we’ll take care of it.
You don’t need to be home for the clean itself โ most of our customers are at work, running errands, or out enjoying their day while we clean. Just let us know how to access your home (lockbox code, garage code, hidden key, etc.) and we’ll take care of the rest.
However, you do need to be present at the end of the clean for a post-clean walkthrough on any one-time or first-time clean for our Beary Clean Guarantee to apply.
The walkthrough takes just a few minutes. Our cleaner will walk you through the home so you can confirm everything meets your expectations before they leave. This protects both of us โ you get to flag anything immediately while the cleaner is still on-site, and we get to make it right on the spot rather than scheduling a re-clean later.
For recurring cleans (after your first clean), walkthroughs are not required. By that point we know your home, your preferences, and your standards โ and you’ve established trust with our team.
